Munchkin Longhair
The Munchkin in a flowing coat
The semi-longhaired Munchkin: the same short legs and the same lively, inquisitive character, wearing a silkier and longer coat that asks for a little more brushing.

History
The semi-longhaired Munchkin, arising from the same 1983 Louisiana line. The long coat entered through the outcrosses used to keep the young breed's gene pool healthy.
Personality
Outgoing and full of fun, Munchkin Longhairs love to dash about, chase anything that moves and bat their toys around. They enjoy company of every kind — children, dogs and other pets included.
Did you know?
The plumed tail on a Munchkin Longhair is often longer than the cat is tall, which does nothing to reduce the impression of a very determined feather duster.
