A family of cat people, a café full of magic
Pink Paws Cat Cafe is the sister business of Pink Paws Cattery — built by a family who has spent years learning what makes cats happy, and who wanted to share that joy with the people of Jacksonville.
Our story
Somewhere between the cuddles and the purrs, the dream of Pink Paws Cat Cafe was born
For years our family has raised British Shorthairs at Pink Paws Cattery, a TICA-registered cattery in Jacksonville. Along the way we noticed the same thing over and over: the best moments weren't the show ribbons — they were the afternoons when families sat on our floor and a kitten simply chose them.
We wanted to bottle that feeling and share it with more people. And we wanted cats from all kinds of backgrounds to have a place in the story, too. So we partnered with local rescue organizations, found a space, and started sketching a lounge that felt like walking into a storybook: castle nooks, climbing turrets, twinkling lights, and cozy places to simply be a cat.
And so, Pink Paws Cat Cafe came to life — with a café at the entrance and a world of cats beyond it. Handcrafted drinks, little treats, curious adventures, and plenty of time to meet, play, and simply enjoy being around cats all became part of the experience. And for some of our residents, there may be an even happier ending: the chance to find a forever home.
That work carries on alongside the cattery. We partner with local rescue organizations, and from time to time rescue cats and kittens stay with us in the lounge — meeting guests, getting used to people, and waiting for the family who takes them home.
