Accessibility Statement

Everyone should be able to enjoy the magic — online and in person. Here's what we've done and how to tell us when we can do better.

Our commitment

Pink Paws Cat Cafe is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

This website

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Measures we've taken include:

  • Semantic HTML with proper headings, landmarks and labels
  • Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, accordions and booking flow with visible focus states
  • Sufficient color contrast on text and interactive elements
  • Alternative text on meaningful images and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology
  • Respect for the user's reduced-motion preference — animations and background video are minimized or paused
  • Resizable text and responsive layouts that work on any screen size
  • A 'Skip to content' link at the top of every page

In the café

  • Step-free entrance and accessible restroom
  • Wide, clear pathways in the café and lounge
  • Staff trained to assist guests with disabilities; service animals welcome in the café
  • Large-print menus available on request
  • Guests of all ages are welcome, and children under 3 visit free

Sensory needs

We know a room full of cats, people and espresso machines is not calm for everyone. Sensory-friendly support is part of how we operate, not a separate ticket you have to buy.

  • Tell us what you need when you book — or when you arrive — and our Cat Hosts will help you find a quieter time of day
  • We can turn the music down or off on request
  • The café side is available any time you or someone with you needs a break from the lounge
  • Cats always have retreat spaces, so quieter visits suit them too

Known limitations

Some third-party content (embedded maps, booking or payment widgets) may not fully meet our standards. We work with vendors to improve this and offer phone booking as an alternative.
